The Daytona Beach Barbeque Festival is this Saturday, July 18 on Beach Street. The festival is scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight and offers live music, kids activities and barbeque that can be purchased from various vendors. I have been to festivals in the past and found them to be a great time, but have not attended this one yet. My guess is this should be a good festival if the numbers of vendors selling barbeque are plentiful. A couple of cold beers and a plate of ribs should make for a fine evening. Just need to hope it doesn't rain.
